Wisemary is an all-American rock band from St. Louis, Missouri, whose story began during the uncertainty of the 2020 quarantine. What started as a creative outlet—sharing soulful rock covers online—quickly evolved into something much bigger. Their honest performances, unmistakable chemistry, and emotional delivery resonated with audiences, earning the band a loyal and rapidly growing local following. Even in those earliest days, it was clear there was something special beneath the covers: a distinct identity waiting to emerge.

As the band evolved, so did its vision. Following a pivotal lineup change, Wisemary caught the attention of Grammy-nominated producer Carl Nappa, whose ear for authentic artists and timeless records made him an ideal creative partner. Recognizing the band's potential, Nappa helped refine Wisemary's sound while preserving the raw emotion and authenticity that had drawn listeners in from the beginning. Together, they forged a modern alternative rock sound rooted in classic songwriting, powerful melodies, and performances that feel both intimate and anthemic.

Rather than rushing to release music, Wisemary chose to invest the time to build something lasting. Over the next two years, the band worked closely with Nappa and his tight-knit production team, meticulously writing, recording, and refining every song.

The result is Wisemary—a self-titled debut album that serves as both an introduction and a declaration of intent. Rich with soaring hooks, thoughtful lyricism, and cinematic production, the record captures the band's journey while laying the foundation for what's to come.

Today, Wisemary continues to build momentum through electrifying live performances and a growing catalog of original music that reflects both where they've been and where they're headed. Their songs blend heartland grit with modern alternative rock, balancing vulnerability with power and timeless songwriting with contemporary energy.

For Wisemary, the quarantine may have been where the story began—but it was never the destination. It simply gave the world its first glimpse of a band that was always meant to find its voice.
